Cyclists Have Rights
Cycling is a beautiful activity. And no more so than in the amazing state of Colorado. However, due to a variety of reasons, not least of which is a failure of roadways to safely accommodate cyclists, cycling in the North Jefferson County area is also unnecessarily hazardous.
The only way this is going to happen is if we, the citizens of the North JeffCo area, demand from our elected officials that ignoring cyclists' legal right to be accommodated on roads that we pay for is no longer acceptable.

Cyclists Do Have Rights!
We believe cyclists have the right to ride their bikes without fear and to safely share the road with motorists. Let's face it, we're all motorists, too.
Leyden Road Closure - Leyden Road between Hwy 93 and Quaker Ave will be closed to thru traffic beginning Feb 22 thru Jun 30th. Read more...
Arvada Annexes Leyden Road - The city of Arvada has annexed Leyden Road from Quaker to Indiana. That's great news for the cycling community -- Arvada is the leading bike-friendly community south of Boulder.
City of Westminster
We continue to wait for progress from Westminster. They promised to put Sharrows in on 100th Ave once the weather warmed. Certainly it's been that. Let's see some action!!
